Brody

With 4 short weeks until baby Ella arrives I wanted to document some of the many things Brody does and says right now. Because after she comes I am afraid I will forget them all to quickly. It is hard to believe there will be two little ones in the house. For the last two and a half years it has been me and my little buddy.

Whenever Brody wants to give the baby a hug or kiss he lifts my shirt up so he can see my belly. He can't do it with my shirt covering me. He hugs my belly with his face against it. Then he pushes my now protruding belly button out, in!

Brody loves to read books. He will bring me one, we will read it. Then he will hop off the couch grab another one and we will read it. This process goes on for about 20 books. He loves "Llama Llama, Red Pajama", "Snowmen at Christmas", and all animal and car books.

Brody also loves his movies. Right now he is all about Ice Age 1,2 ans 3. He really likes Frosty the Snowman, I think mostly because he likes the case that it comes in.

He loves to get into our closet and pull out high heels and walk around the house in them. Nick can't stand it... I think it's so funny. If he is still doing it when he is 5, then I will worry.

Whenever something happens that he doesn't understand why he says, "Oh no, happen" and holds his hands out with his palms up. It is the cutest thing!

He is a lover, not a fighter... most of the time. He could be in the middle of intense car playing and if you make a kissy noise he will stop whatever he is doing to give you a big kiss on the lips.

Brody loves all animals, especially the neighbors boxer dog, "Duke". He even says , "Duuke".

He is very good at navigating his way around on the Ipad. It's amazing how fast they learn.

Brody says...
Mom, Mommy
Dad
Car
Dog
Cat or sometimes Meow referring to cat
bird
Fish
Bath
house
baby
Tractor
outside
teeth
funny
all body parts ( on a boy) ;)
toy
boat
train
Movie
Book
sleep
eat
bike

Those are just some of his favorite words that really get the message across of what he wants to say.

We just love our little Brody to pieces!!!!!
